6) Can you install large-format/porcelain panels?

Yes. We use specialized handling, leveling systems, and compatible mortars for warpage-controlled, lippage-free results.
7) Do you offer floor leveling and substrate prep?
Yes. We correct dips, humps, and deflection issues so tile meets flatness tolerances (TCNA standards).
8) What grout options do you recommend?
Epoxy, urethane, or high-performance cementitious grouts depending on location, stain risk, joint width, and look.
9) How should I care for marble and natural stone?
Use pH-neutral cleaners, avoid acids, wipe spills quickly, and reseal every 6–12 months depending on use.
10) Do you provide warranties?
Yes—1-year labor warranty. Material warranties follow manufacturer terms.
11) Are permits included?
Tile/stone often doesn’t require permits, but plumbing/electrical or structural changes might. We’ll advise case-by-case.

Absolutely. We collaborate on specs, shop drawings, and schedules.
13) Which areas do you serve?
Orange County, CA (including Irvine, Newport Beach, Anaheim, and nearby cities).

Send dimensions/photos or book a site visit. You’ll receive a written scope, timeline, and itemized price.

15) Is it cheaper to hire a handyman or contractor?

Depends on the project. If you are changing a toilet or adding fixtures to your garage, then a handyman is the best option. However, if there are new electric lines or plumbing relocation or full bathroom and kitchen renovation is the scope, then you should hire a general contractor. You will risk paying twice for the same work to be done right and be up to city codes.

16) Is it worth getting a general contractor?

By hiring a general contractor, you can offload the responsibility of managing the construction process. They will handle the day-to-day tasks, inspections, and problem-solving, allowing you to focus on other aspects of your life. This saves you valuable time and reduces stress.

17) Is Millennium Design services the same as Millennium Tile & Marble?

Yes. After many years of being in business and operating under the name Millennium Tile & Marble, we changed our name to Millennium Design services which encompasses more of our services under a general contractor rather than a specialist with tile and marble.
